I am a Lecturer in Cognitive Science, at the University of Reading, UK, affiliated to the Cybernetics Research Group in the School of Systems Engineering and the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics.
My interests include general brain functioning, emotion, attention, consciousness, and cognitive science methods, i.e. theoretical, (biologically plausible) computational and experimental work (coupled EEG-fMRI and psychophysics). My current efforts involve the development of a theoretical and computational framework to investigate the role of interaction with the environment in giving rise to our experience of the world.
